Pete Sweeney
has been a full-time professional musician since 1983. He
has studied with Dave Calarco and the great Joe Morello for
7 years. He has recorded and performed with many great musicians
in the rock, blues, and jazz idioms. Some of his performance

Pete Has toured the US and Canada with Irish
singing legend Tony Kenny, guitar virtuoso Matt Smith, and

Castle" with Adrien Cohen

In addition to performing, Pete Sweeney is
also an active author and educator. He teaches privately in
the Capital Region and in Western Massachusetts, and has also
been a permanent faculty member at the prestigious National
Guitar Workshop for the last 10 years. He has written four
highly acclaimed instructional books for Alfred publishing,
produced a DVD for the workshop, and is currently working
on a 2nd DVD as well as a three part book series that will
debut at the Winter NAMM show 2004.
